As a Maryland native and a George Washington University alum, Dr. Palak Shah earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. After obtaining her degree, Dr Shah completed her residency program in Brooklyn Heights, NY at the Lutheran Medical Center where she received advanced training in prosthodontics (implants, crowns, and dentures), endodontics (root canal treatment), oral surgery, and pediatric and geriatric dentistry.
As a lifelong learner, she earned her certification in Invisalign® and also pursues ongoing specialized training in the latest advancements in dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Shah has served on numerous dental mission trips, providing care to underserved regions including the Dominican Republic and India.
Beyond serving patients, she loves spending time with her husband and their two young children. She also enjoys reading, traveling, movies, interior design, trying new restaurants, and meeting new people.
